Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 October 2026 · Last updated: 28 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AFKAAR LABS (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“Afkaar Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our mobile applications, software, websites and related services (together, the “Services”), including every app we publish on Google Play under the developer name “Afkaar Labs”.

By using our Services you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

AFKAAR LABS (PRIVATE) LIMITED is a software company registered in Pakistan. We are the developer and data controller responsible for the Services.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little information as possible. Many of our apps work entirely on your device and collect no personal information at all. Depending on the app and the features you use, we may process the following categories of information.

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

Information we do not collect

We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect financial information, contacts, call logs, SMS messages, or precise location unless a feature clearly requires it, you grant permission, and the app’s Google Play Data safety section discloses it.

3. Device permissions

Some features need access to parts of your device, for example the camera, microphone, notifications, storage or approximate location. We request a permission only when a feature needs it, and we use it only for that feature. You can grant or withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

4. How we use information

We use information only for the following purposes:

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

6. Third-party services

Our apps may use third-party services that collect information under their own privacy policies. Section 14 and each app’s Google Play Data safety section list the services a specific app uses. Services we may use include:

Where an app shows ads, the ad provider may use your advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google › Ads, and where required by law we ask for your consent first.

7. AI features

Some of our Services include features powered by artificial intelligence. When you use such a feature, the text, images or other input you provide may be sent to an AI model provider to generate a response. We send only what the feature needs, we do not use your input to train our own models without your consent, and the app-specific details in section 14 name the provider used. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI features.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Data stored only on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after you delete your account, except where we must keep certain records longer to meet legal obligations. Crash and analytics data is kept in aggregated or pseudonymous form for no longer than the retention period of the provider, typically 14 months or less. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years.

9. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time:

We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. Uninstalling an app removes the data it stored on your device.

10. Security

We protect information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and limiting access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. If we ever publish an app designed for children, it will follow Google Play’s Families Policy and this section will be updated for that app.

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. When we do, we take steps to make sure your information stays protected as described in this policy.

14. App-specific details

This policy applies to all apps published by Afkaar Labs. Where an app collects data beyond what is described above, or uses a specific third-party service, it is listed here. Each app’s Google Play listing also has a Data safety section describing its data practices.

No apps have been published yet. This section will be updated as each app is released.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
